Matt's Mobile Tax Service has proudly served clients for over 20 years, simplifying tax preparation with unmatched convenience and affordability. Originally, with only a handful of clients, mine was a mobile service where I completed your return in your home with my portable office. Today, mobile means you can review and sign the tax return I prepare for you from a mobile device using a secure online portal. I also offer drop off and pickup or send/receive documents through US Mail and offer a limited number of in-person office appointments (please inquire). Scroll below for more details. As a sole proprietor, I specialize exclusively in individual tax returns, ensuring personalized service, year after year.

Many clients find it most convenient to drop tax materials off and pick up the completed tax return when it's done. You do not need an appointment to drop off your tax papers in the drop box on the wall atthe right of front door. Alternately you can send by US Mail which is delivered into a secure locked mailbox.

Current clients can upload tax forms and download the completed tax return through an encrypted and secure online portal. New clients will receive a portal login during onboarding.

My prices are a flat fee regardless of the number of pages. You can determine the cost of your tax return with no surprises!
How it works
Matt's Mobile Tax Service offers a variety of convenient options for completing your tax returns. Please fill out and include the client checklist.
Option 1: Paper Documents
Most clients find it most convenient to send or drop off documents. No appointment is necessary, as taxes will be done in the order they are received.
- Dropoff/Pickup: Use our secure drop box at the front door for 24/7 drop off; I will contact you when done to schedule pickup.
- US Mail: Send your documents securely to my locked mailbox; I will send your original documents and your completed tax return to you by USPS Priority mail with tracking number.
- *New clients, please contact me for additional information before mailing or dropping off your tax materials.
Option 2: Secure Online Portal
- Using the online portal is the quickest way to submit your forms and receive your completed return. Visit the Portal tab for details.

Option 3: In-Office Appointments
- If you prefer, you may schedule an appointment for in-person tax return preparation while you wait (limited times available). Please contact me for details and to schedule your visit.
About Me
Credentials
I have been an IRS Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP)(1) since 2013, and am dedicated to providing personalized tax services that meet the unique needs of each client. I maintain my credentials through ongoing education, ensuring I stay current with the IRS Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP).

Background
My background in engineering, teaching, and software equips me with a strong analytical mindset, which I apply to navigating the complexities of tax preparation. I have a passion for numbers and enjoy the strategic thinking involved in tax planning and preperation.
Passion
Outside of work, I am an avid chess player, which reflects my appreciation for strategy and problem-solving. While my various careers took me in a variety of directions, what I've always loved most was working working directly with people. I enjoy helping my tax clients understand their situations and achieve the best possible outcomes.
